Remove Skin Tan With Natural Remedies

It has been observed that skin takes darker shade when it is excessively exposed to the sun rays, this is referred to as skin tan which is result of too much exposure to harmful UV rays from the sun. There are several areas across the world where this tanning is done on purpose by sun bathing or several other artificial methods like sauna.

Tanning does not mean that people will not have to be exposed at all to the sun, our body needs Vitamin D which is available naturally only through sun rays hence it is suggested to expose limitedly to the sun however excessive exposure to these rays can lead to several health problems.

Some of the health issues which can pop up due to extra exposure to the sun include sun burns, skin cancer and weakness in immunity system of the body. The main process as to what happens when body is overly exposed to sun is burning up melanin which protects the skin which also is reason for the darker shade of skin.

Now let us see natural methods to remove skin tan:
1. Lemon juice and tomato
For this, we only need 2 tomatoes which have been pureed to which add 4 tbsp of lemon juice. Now mix them well to apply on the tanned part of skin and leave it so for about 20 minutes before washing off with cold water. To observe proper results follow this for 15 days continuously.

2. Turmeric powder and lemon juice:
Take 6 tbsp of lemon juice and mix it up with 2 tsp of turmeric powder to form into proper paste and apply on the tanned area. Let it be for about half an hour before washing it off with normal water.

These may take some time to prepare, for those looking out to much faster process will be happy to know that even a small slice of raw potato can work wonders on skin tan removal when rubbed with for about 5-10 minutes.
